Race Rules:

1. The car weight shall not exceed 5 oz.
2. Car length may not exceed 7 inches.
3. Car width may not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
4. Between the wheel clearance must be 1-3/4 inch.
5. Minimum bottom clearance height must be 3/8 inch.
6. The wood provided in the Official Pinewood Derby kit must be used.  Painting and decorating is encouraged.
7. Body shape may be anything desired provided it meets the above criteria.
8. Supplied wheels in the kit must be used. They may not be cut, drilled, beveled or rounded. The molding seam may be removed from the wheels.
9. The axles supplied with the kit must be used. They may be polished, deburred and lubricated with any dry lubricant. No chrome axles
10. No springs, bearings, bushings or suspension of any kind.
11. Car must sit naturally on all four wheels.
12. All weight must be permanently attached.
